Destination Heaven

“The Simple Path
Silence is Prayer
Prayer is Faith
Faith is Love
Love is Service
The Fruit of Service is Peace”
― Mother Teresa

Each path God carves for every human life is unique; intersects with other pathways at specific points and concludes at the same destination. Heaven.

“The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)

How to Be Great

The Shroud of Turin

“Your greatness is revealed not by the lights that shine upon you, but by the light that shines within you.”
― Ray Davis

Making yourself great is a futile task of the ego. It is done in faith, alongside assistance, hope, fortitude, perseverance, and gratitude.

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

Purpose of Grace

“That is the mystery of grace: it never comes too late.”
― François Mauriac

If you conscientiously evaluate your life, you will see the evolution between past, present and what is to arrive in the future. If you mediate upon these things you will see the torrents of graces that have been bestowed upon you and how they lead to purpose.

“Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:8-9)

Everyone Deserves a Chance

The Blood of Jesus washes away our past and the Name of Jesus opens up our future.
― Jesse Duplantis

Everyone from the best to the worst has something noble within them. This is God’s way of making every soul eligible for salvation and mercy.

“9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)

Love to Give

“If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.”
― Mother Teresa

If you desire love, give love.
If you desire peace, be charitable.
If you desire God’s grace, His blessings you must share.

“give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:37-38)

Life After Death

“What wonderful majesty! What stupendous condescension! O sublime humility! That the Lord of the whole universe, God and the Son of God, should humble Himself like this under the form of a little bread, for our salvation”
― St. Francis of Assisi

God wanted the reality of eternal life to be tangible to us during our mortal existence, by allowing us to experience its truth not only internally, but also externally. Standing before the Blessed Sacrament, we see the corporal presence of Jesus. Each time Priest breaks the Sacred Host, we hear its snap. As the Priest places the Eucharist on our tongues we taste its nourishment. When we receive His body into our hands we touch His flesh. Every time we drink His Precious Blood, we can smell its bittersweet scent. These are all reminders of the importance of unity with Him and that there is life after death through Jesus.

“And as they were eating, he took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to them, and said, “Take; this is my body.” 23 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, and they all drank of it. 24 And he said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many. 25 Truly, I say to you, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.” (Mark 14:22-26)

Desire To Inspire

“The purpose of our lives is to be happy.”
― Dalai Lama

Kind words are blessings. It reminds you of why you should and need to be alive.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Wake Up Call

“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” ― Plato

Tragedy is not a reason to wallow in pity. It is inspiration to create a new strategy.

“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)

You Don’t Know Jack

“You can swim all day in the Sea of Knowledge and still come out completely dry. Most people do.” ~Norman Juster

Contemplation elevates the ego to humility. Within the light, the ego realizes it is not in control of anything nor does it know everything.

“They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart.” (Ephesians 4:18)

You are Beautiful

“Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart” – Kahlil Gibran

Since beauty lives all around us, you have no legitimate reason to think you are not beautiful as well.

“And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.” (Genesis 1:31)
